Discord Community Moderator (Asia Session Shift)

We are hiring a Discord Community Moderator to support our international community throughout Asian trading hours.
Your role
You will be one of the main points of contact inside the Hyperprop Discord during the Asia session.
You will support members across regions and time zones, answer common questions, enforce community rules, identify potential platform issues, and escalate important feedback to the right internal team.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the Hyperprop Discord throughout the Asia session
- Welcome new members and help them navigate the community
- Answer common questions using verified, up-to-date information
- Keep conversations respectful, constructive, and relevant
- Address spam, scams, harassment, impersonation, raids, and disruptive behavior
- Issue warnings, timeouts, or escalations when needed
- Identify potential bugs and point users to the right reporting process
- Collect feedback and escalate recurring concerns
- Keep support, feedback, and bug-report channels organized
- Support announcements, testing rounds, raffles, events, and evaluation drops
- Maintain FAQs, moderation notes, internal guides, and standard responses
- Prepare clear handovers for the London and US moderation teams
- Coordinate with Support, Product, Engineering, and prop firm partners
Requirements
- Previous experience moderating an active Discord community
- Experience in prop trading, futures trading, fintech, or trading communities is strongly preferred
- Understanding of evaluations, funded accounts, orders, positions, drawdown, and risk limits
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Additional Asian language skills are helpful but not required
- Calm, fair, and professional communication
- Strong judgment with conflict or sensitive situations
- Experience with Discord moderation tools, tickets, roles, and permissions
- Reliable availability during Asian trading and business hours
- Able to share verified information without making unsupported promises
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
